Outlaay is a merchant-led savings platform built for Ghana. Customers who can't afford the full price today commit to a plan and save toward your product over time. You only release the item once it's fully paid — so you grow sales without taking on risk or chasing payments.

No. You never advance anything to the customer. Outlaay holds the contributions and pays you out only when the plan is fully completed. The product stays with you until that moment, so there is no scenario where you're out of pocket.

As soon as a customer's plan reaches 100%, the payout is queued and lands in your registered mobile money or bank account within 72 hours. You'll see the full payout history and pending balances inside your merchant dashboard.

If a customer falls behind or cancels, Outlaay handles the conversation and the refund process according to the plan terms. You don't release any product, and you're never out any inventory. The plan simply doesn't complete and there's no payout for it — but no loss either.

We'll ask for your business registration, a valid ID for the business owner, and the mobile money or bank details where you want to receive payouts. The full checklist is shared during onboarding so nothing catches you off guard.

There's no fee to sign up or list products. Outlaay charges a small fee on completed plans, disclosed clearly during onboarding so you can price accordingly. You only ever pay when you've already been paid.

Yes. Customer information is encrypted, stored securely, and used only to operate the savings plans and reach out to your customers on your behalf. We don't sell data, and you remain the merchant of record for your own customer relationships.
